68 disc brake bleeder direction
« on: November 14, 2019, 09:40:30 PM »
I am looking for the direction of the 68 disc brake bleeders face, rearward or up. I am pretty sure they face rearward but am second guessing my self.
It is not clear in the assembly manual.

On any brake system the bleeder must always be at the top to let air and air bubbles out.

The photo is correct. If you swap the calipers side to side so the bleeders face up then there is trapped air in the system making the brakes spongy.
