« on: June 22, 2019, 03:29:43 PM »
who makes the best pistons for a Boss 302 block maybe 0.30 over but basically just want a good piston for a stock Car with some balls behind it

any suggestions or part numbers would be appreciated

Racetec pistons. Google it.

You don't have to go all the way to 0.030 over if you don't have to. Their pistons are CNC ground and can be made in any size you need like 0.018, etc. Doesn't cost any more. No need to bore it to a preset size. Only bore it as far as you need and save it for a future rebuild.

+1 A common and unfortunate error IMHO for many of us
