4201s fuel pumps
« on: July 03, 2019, 05:45:59 PM »
Gents,
I have two Fred Ballard rebuilt 4201s fuel pumps.  Date stamps are 26G5A and 18K5A.

I have a 66 kcode built in oct 22 65 that I think the 18K5A is best for.  The other one I don’t need.  Please message me if you are looking for one.

Not so much interested in selling as I am getting into a fuel pump that is correct date stamped for my kar.

Since your likely using the door tag for a projected and possible build date I would think that the pump made four days earlier (or possibly after your car was completed) would be too close and would choose the July fuel pump for a car possibly built only three months later (26G5A)

If so then suggest you or we delete the post since it's in the FOR SALE section ;) so we can stay within the site rules. Thanks

Jeff, if the July 65 fuel pump seems more timely for my late oct 65 built ca then I would be interested in selling the other one.  I’d sell to help fund the current restoration my kar is going through.  $2000 is a price I would put on it.
