70- Mach I Vermillion Interior screw color
« on: August 01, 2019, 04:34:42 PM »
Went to order an interior screw kit and there's two options, light or dark colored interior. Where does Vermillion fall ?  I would normally think light, but on a 1970 Vermillion Mach1 interior it's half black and half Vermillion.

Thank's in advance, John

John - lots of screws to consider. Which ones would help

Only area that is "black"  (Dark Charcoal Metallic) will be the steering column, and lower section of the dash

On the Mach1 interior, the carpet, kick panels, console, carpeted section of the door panels, Dash pad, and package tray are also black. AMK offers 2 interior screw kits, one for dark interior cars and one for light. I was hoping I could just order the kit instead of ordering everything individually but I'm not sure which (If either) will have the correct finish screws. Guess i'm just being lazy.....    :)

Your completely correct - I for some reason was reading Vermilion and thinking Ginger

Have a few pictures but not that close of ones showing every interior screw. Console base screws look to be the typical zinc or cad look. Can't post pictures of those examples right this moment - maybe someone else had one - though you know how rare of an interior choice that was in 70
