Question about black finish for A/C compressor, pulleys, etc..
« on: September 04, 2019, 04:58:11 AM »
Hi guys,

Just to make sure which finish is the correct one for the A/C compressor, pulleys and PS reservoir. I believe is the semi-gloss but want to know for sure. Thank you.

Compressor is semigloss black regardless of if York or Tecumseh in 65/66 . Pulleys are typically glossier side of semi black on the pulley itself with the center bearing cap being zinc silver and the bracket portion typically bare cast iron. PS reservoir is typically teal blue if ford Thompson or black if TRW.

Just a reminder for others viewing - some details that get asked allot are covered in the FAQ thread (top of the thread list) like the PS finishes for the one piece units  ;)
