Shelby taillight socket dimensions

Looking to confirm the socket hole diameter for the 67, 68 & 69-70 Shelby taillight bodies.

Scott, that is not a good tail light socket picture. 67,68,and 69/70 have the sockets exiting the back. They may be different then the panel you show.

It was early this morning and I grabbed a photo of a plastic replacement body for conversions.  Still need the original hole diameter.

My sockets are a little loose in the holes of my 69.

It looks like you got a little red on the factory pink backside of your 69/70 tailpanel. Don't worry the taillight cardboards should cover that up. I thought I would mention it given the other detail oriented questions you ask.

LOL, and I was thinking of putting that disclaimer in my post but thought as it was about the dimension of the socket hole.....  One of the PO's did that. Yes, my incorrect colored cardboards cover that.  :-)

I think the 68  holes are going to be a different size

67 = 1.11 to 1.12.
There is a 0.3 wide tang that intrudes about .07 into the hole.
