Topic: Hood Bumpers- January Dearborn

I was at a car show last Saturday and it was pointed out to me that my hood bumpers were the 1964 1/2 style with the screw visible in the center.  I read online that this style was used into part of the 65 build dates.  My car is a 1965 Dearborn K code coupe with a scheduled build date of January 11.  Could these hood bumpers be original to the car?

Both of my January '65 Dearborn convertibles have the center screw type hood bumpers.

yes--my 2 cars have them so I'd say you're safe on yours as well.

Looking at what I've got documented the change over at Dearborn for this detail took place around mid April 65

There are 2 styles of the open center.  We've discussed before, should be able to come up with pics doing a search.

Thanks Charles!  Mine are the correct "rounded" top visible screw bumpers pictured in the previous discussion you mentioned.
