Ford service replacement? hood hinges
« on: May 12, 2019, 08:26:23 AM »
I recently obtained a cache of early Mustang parts, mostly 65, 66.    I found what looks to be NOS hood hinges but the date code doesn't align with
65 or 66 and, of course, the rivet backside is not the same.

Is this date code 1972? 82?   Are these hinges from Ford?

I should add that one of the hinges had the remnants of the sticker shown here.

It could be the 2 of several decades .The rivet style changed in the 70's . It appears to be a Ford service part .I am not familar with a after market hinge other then the repros that started to be made in the last 25 years.
