67 Shelby Front & Rear Shock Markings
« on: March 27, 2019, 04:12:18 AM »
Hi All, could someone tell me what are the paint markings on standard front and rear shock absorbers on a mid 500# January 1967 built 67500? These shocks are painted satin black. Thanks in advance.

Not sure why your searches are not finding anything. Weak 'search foo'?

Here are three, if your shocks are Autolite adjustables.
Bob or Jeff mentioned that some really early shocks could be labeled "FoMoCo".
Regardless, they were three way adjustables.
Don't believe the color of the paint daub changed, but will leave that to others.

From the examples I've seen the paint mark on the shocks that identified them was consistent in color and basic location as well as method of application through the production year.
