I had asked Chris to measure his yellow 90 degree distributor primary wire only to determine the lengths of the various years. And, as we know, if the distributor had a molded end it could not be a stock 65/6 distributor.
I agree that all of the "FoMoCo" cast Hi-Po distributors were small hole and had the eyelet. I pulled out a variety of distributors which still had an original "appearing" primary wire with results below:

My HiPo distributor was converted to Petronix and is missing its wire. I'll just buy the 65/67 289 Hi-Po eyelet style repop wire.
