Hi Dan, Could you post a better picture of the bracket on the PS cooler ? something looks funky with the bracket, like someone mentioned it may be the type that mounts on the compressor (71 and up...) Here's a pic of the correct 428 PS cooler from the 428CJ registry site....( Hope Scott doesn't mind)

The 70 Boss 302 cooler is the same as pictured except it has two real short pipes at the bottom instead of one long and one shorter pipe like the 428/Boss429 part. The  69 Boss 302 cooler is the same as the 428/429 part but the long and short pipes on the base are switched.

The 7AA pulley is listed as a replacement for the 428 w/AC pulley ( AF marked) but both were used on a bunch of other applications (a lot of 390 stuff)

The throttle cable is the same for V8 apps (except Boss 429) but that looks like a production part so that's kinda tough to find ( I'd verify the length to be sure it's Mustang)

Not sure on the AC bracket till I pull out some and eyeball them...

Hope this helps, John

FYI you are missing the fixed idler pulley that bolts to the threaded hole in the lower compressor bracket ,upper compressor / lateral bracket and waterpump .I can't tell for sure because I can't see the marking but the PS pulley looks close. Clutch fork is for a small block. Not sure if it matters but the PS aluminum bracket is the Ford Thompson type that pairs with the blue/teal Ford Thompson pump. The block plate is a later FE manual or auto. The flat inspection plate is for a C6 trans.

Image attached is definitely the oil cooler I have.  MustangTek says 68 oil cooler is all.  Google says fairlane and LTD oil cooler?    I will get some other stuff cleaned up and pics up there so you guys don't have to keep playing where's Waldo trying to help me.

Do I measure total length of throttle cable or from some point to some point?

Is there a best way, practice or "go to" person to send an AC condenser for restoration?  Is it worth it to do that?  Like I said I have an NOS one in storage but do not want to use if I can resurrect one.

I am resigned that the guy I bought this stuff from may have thought it was all 428 stuff but it appears to be a bunch of different stuff.  I'm ignorant of it all apparently.  I do appreciate all the help and feedback.  I believe there are a couple of other small parts in there I will get dug out and post pics of only what has not been confirmed so far as soon as I can.

Thanks again everyone for the awesome support and answers.

Pics of the AC Condenser and dryer.  Also the canister that I have no clue on.  Then a picture of the last of the unknown brackets.  The PS oil cooler appears to be the LTD Fairlane mentioned on google. The throttle cable measured a little over 23 inches from tip to tip.

J Speegle and Bob,

Are those pics for a 428 or 390 AC system or are they all the same.  That large bracket is like the one I have bust Mustangtek states for 390 I think. But I know the site doesn't swear by everything it says.

The AC condenser and dryer look like a 67/68 version. I can't tell from the pictures but the 69/70 uses O rings and the 67/68 uses flare fittings at the condenser so check that feature.  The vacuum can will work for 69/70. The sheet metal power steering hose locator bracket you can use. The piece with the two slotted holes is the chassis side for a manual trans Z bar. The bent metal piece is used to hold down a repro single four oval air cleaner base (junk). I don't know what the larger steel bracket is for but I do know it is not for a 390 /428 AC system.

Thanks everyone, it looks like I can use at least a few pieces, which is nice to know.  At this point I will clean and store the stuff I can use and the rest that isn't junk is going to Columbus in the spring.  I appreciate all the time and great information you all have provided.  HUGE HELP!!!!
