1970 Horn Wire Clips
« on: December 02, 2018, 02:55:48 AM »
I have noticed that some 1970 mustang restorations use white clips and some have black clips holding the horn wires to the rad saddle, which is correct or are both acceptable.

Since the focus here is more on how they (the cars) were originally built rather than judging or what you can get by with I offer the following examples

From early 70 production at Dearborn

0F1151xx

0F1171xx

0F12166x

Looks like black is the answer

All the original cars I have here and have seen use the black clips for the horn wires.
