power steering pump pulley installation
« on: August 23, 2018, 07:33:19 PM »
Would it interfere with the press-fit of the pulley if I put a small amount of lubricant to help install the pulley in addition to making sure the surfaces are clean?

It should not be necessary if the surfaces are clean. I have seen it done but probably not the best thing to do given it is press fit and lubricant by it's nature may (but not for certain) make it easier for the pulley to move out of position.
