1967 Frame Dimensions
« on: August 24, 2018, 09:47:45 PM »
Hi All -

I was looking over the Frame Dimension article in the Library and cannot find any reference to what points labeled "A", "B" and "C" are n the top view of the first diagram. Am I missing something or can someone enlighten me?

Thanks!
Bill

Believe that is sort of an xray view so your looking through panels and frame rails (was looking at those two days ago) Think the thing that makes it confusing is that it appears it was drawn (top illustrations) "looking" downward from above rather than drawn as if the viewer or person measuring would see from below the car

By comparing both the two and bottom illustrations on that first page for the 67's some of them are labeled

A - Is the center of the forward upper a arm/control arm mounting hole

B - Looks to be the center of the steering box mounting hole in the frame. Most forward one

C- Idler arm mounting hole

Just what I can make of it. Hope that helps

Thanks, Jeff! That makes a lot more sense than the way I was trying to interpret it.
