Just to be clear, is this a power steering car  (V8)?     And a manual steering car (V8) would have the 'A' bolt on both sides?

In reply #1 from Jim, he states "A non-power steering V-8 car uses the same hardware as the RH side on the LH side."

So in a non-power steering setup (V8 car) you'd have 'TR' marked bolts on each side. With power steering, you'll have both: 'TR' marked on the right, 'A' marked on the left, which matches the examples in all the posted photos.

Ah, got it.   I read that reply and wasn't sure which hardware.   Thanks!

Not all the time. I have several 64-66 V-8 non-P/S tie rod clamp bolts that have a "M" head marking. They are grade 2. All the "TR" and "A" bolts are grade 5. I can't validate their originality nor plant. Again, most Mustangs I have access to were built in San Jose.

Agree Jim. All the cars I've either worked on or owned have also been San Jose (Milpitas). Lived on the West Coast all my life...
