Crankshaft Storage
« on: July 22, 2018, 09:48:38 PM »
I’ve always been told that a crankshaft needs to be stored on its end, true or false? And would Boeshield be the think to spray on the engine parts till I get to the rebuild of the engine? Or just use oil?

True on storing crank on it's end. Ether will work. Boeshield is better IMO.

Always have since they take up less room that way (watch for the domino effect  ::) and don't want to spend the moneu or time to make or buy a storage fixture like they use to ship them
