Yes differ between plants and even at NJ apparently based on time period. Have seem some (other plants and times) where having AC may have resulted in different locations.  But for your plant and time period found a bunch where they are shown on the three examples above

I have recently seen 3 unmolested 69 NJ cars with the service spec decal on lh front center cowl panel area just like jeffs photo & 1  decal was upside down from factory.

ecs makes stamped battery decals  & many tags & decals have been made but u only need the correct ones on your specific car so do your reseach first.

For instance the E2 window tag would have been taken off at the dealer during dealer prep. That is unless you are going to show the car the way it came off the transport with bags over the seats, steering wheel. antenna hole not drilled in fender or installed etc. As Ed said do your research and decide which way is best for your car.

ECS is the only one selling commercially the filled out battery inspection decals but they are filled out as they would have been for 69-up Dearborn cars. Other years and plants were filled out differently and some years used a different sticker that what is offered pulse they sell a vinyl sticker rather than a paper based sticker like originally done. PM sent

Just my observations studying these details for 30 plus years

Don't believe the E2 came from a 69 NJ car. If I recall correctly that sticker was originally found on Dearborn cars.

As has been mentioned figure out how the car will be presented. Will it be as delivered to the dealership or to the first buyer and don't mix components from each period. It just looks confusing IMHO and shows that you didn't do all your homework ;)

Its been covered here and elsewhere since the internet opened for us common folk but no reason not to go over it again. Originally a 69 NJ car would not have received one not any other 69 Mustang other than the Boss 9 on the little figure guard so I guess if worded correctly you could say any Mustang on the shroud

The CAUTION fan decals started showing up as I understand it in 72 as a result of a accident or a concern for one and Ford sent out hundreds of thousands of stickers to dealer with the instruction to place one on every car that came in, every used car and every car that went through servicing and repair.  They also added one to every service replacement fan shroud so you can understand why we so often see them on unrestored or low mileage cars today and why you find so many (well they are starting to dry up) NOS ones on Ebay
