C-4 Dip Stick

Is the transmission dipstick handle for a '68 C-4 bare steel or was it plated?

Danny  - just got back in from the Los Angeles show. Will look at my pictures and post the findings  - didn't want you to think no one would help

Think you'll have to look at the lower section of one that has been protected from the elements- believe it was treated the same above as below.

Since  we don't see (well I don't) many of the handles rusty IMHO it must have been plated with something. Now to figure out if it was zinc or cad
