Fuel sending unit wire routing - 65 NJ Fastback
« on: March 28, 2018, 11:05:28 PM »
Does anyone know the correct routing for a fuel sending unit wire once it goes over the drivers side wheel house?  Specifically does it go into the trunk across the tank to passenger side of tank, or at the wheel house does it go in front of trap door then across the tank to passenger side?   It's a '65 Metuchen K code fastback.
Thanks

Don't have any clear pictures from a 65 NJ fastback but believe they were routed the same as 66 NJ  and 65-6 Dearborn fastbacks. The wire for the fuel sender enters the trunk below the drivers side trap door lower corner from the interior then to the top edge of the gas tank.

Enters the interior right above and forward of the drivers side trunk hinge support
