Thx Troy. Not sure if I need to have the bracket without spring hole. I believe so, because of the early build of my car.Later versions do have the hole and the spring, but no clue for what reason.....
hole for spring is a passing gear item NOT used on a 67-down Mustang. It was used on other Ford cars & trucks with Auto Trans in 67.

Back to the question - is there a different dashpot bracket without an additional hole that was used on 64-66 small block Mustangs?Jim
Try http://www.gottafishcarburetors.com or look gotta fish up on eBay. I’ve seen him list original functional units for an additional $30 on his eBay listings for carburetors. Good luck!
