1970 Door and Window Trim Foam Sealer
« on: March 01, 2018, 03:59:54 PM »
I am trying to figure out exactly what type of foam sealer is used between the body and the metal trim rail that the door and window rubber seal snaps into. I am told Ford used a 3/4" or 1" wide by 1/8" thick open cell sticky back black foam strip. Can someone please provide some clarification regarding this and where to get it.

Believe there are at least a dozen prior threads related to the subject.  ;)

I used "roof rail sealer foam tape" and "roof rails" for my searches.  Not sure if there is anything new as far as products but don't think things have changed allot
