Topic: Putting in My Python Seatbelts

Got my belts back from Python, and am putting 'em in.
The front male part has a long "sheath."  Does the sheath and belt remain OUTSIDE the shiny aluminum seat moulding, or does it pass INSIDE, between the seat-back frame and the seat bottom?
Also, on the female part with the buckle, where it bolts to the floor, Is the cloth data tag supose to face up so it can be seen?  If not, Stewart accidentally sewed my tags on the wrong side.

Always take lots of photos before taking things apart, from many different angles... I don't know but somebody else might.

The sheath goes to the outside of the molding.

The inner belt bolts the opposite of the way it fits best.  Not sure why Ford did that, but see original cars like that over and over.

I have found on original '66's that with the front inner belts, that if the car has standard belts in the front, The cloth seat belt tags are NOT showing and are facing the carpeting, If the car has Deluxe belts, They ARE showing and face outwards... Just an observation..

I'd have to check some original deluxe belts that I have in storage, but I'm pretty sure that the deluxe '66 belts had their seat belt tags sewn on the opposite side that the standard seat belt tags were sewn on the standard belts if my memory serves.  The FOMOCO tags were also different on the deluxe belts, They were not the same tags as the standard belts.
