Topic: lower clutch fork and spring

trying to determine the correct color id for the lower clutch spring for a dearborn 3/69 BD 428 4spd car. The build manual calls  out for a black spring. the actual fork has a light blue id. shouldnt the spring and fork id match?

The light blue is what I have always seen and would expect to see in that application. Bob

I dont think the actual color code on the fork and the spring color should match.  And I also agree with a light blue spring being in place.

I have also seen the same light blue color paint daub on the bell housing in the area of the clutch fork opening on several 69 CJ's. Bob
