Rarely seen Mercury
« on: June 09, 2017, 10:23:22 AM »
Another car I always liked was the 72 Montego GT. 8) There either weren't many made or I've heard they rusted away quickly (japanese steel?).
The car just looked bad/mean. A friend in high school had one with the 429 but it wasn't a 429 like a year earlier. We did awaken it with a 71 CJ cam, intake, and 2.5 exhaust. Being it had a full frame, that weight worked against it.

How sad.  :'(

There was one for sale at Carlisle a few years back. The front and back seats came with the car separately, they fell through.
