1968 San Jose GT 390 Fastback Upper Control Arms
« on: March 08, 2020, 12:08:04 AM »
Just curious if these threads on the upper control arms always strip out. I have 3 sets and they are all stripped. Is there a repair process or do they need to be replaced. I was hoping to salvage at least one set, but not sure they are worth any time investment, much like a lot of my other original parts that I was hopping to restore

Thanks

Both of those examples look too pitted to use IMHO.

Agreed Bob. I have another set that are not as bad by comparison, but wanted to see if the stripped threads were an issue or not before I proceed any further, but think that finding a new set might be a better plan
