67 air cleaner air inlet duct hardware wing nuts
« on: September 08, 2021, 09:53:28 PM »
I wanted to confirm the correctness of the wing nuts that affix the 9A626 "duct and valve assembly" (aka snorkel) to the air cleaner.  After looking at some Ford documents and unrestored cars it looks like I'm in good shape.  Attached are the findings since it might help someone else.  289-2V car.  Part number for the wing nut: 359966

Note that the wing screw is of a two piece design, the wing and the screw, the threaded part. They are "staked" together. Several sellers offer a "one piece" design that is not concourse.
