rebuilding AC defrost damper position switch

I ended up rebuilding an AC defrost damper position switch and thought some tips might be useful.

This is a perfect candidate for the library, thanks for taking the time to post what you found. John can you remember where you found your vacuum tool ?

The tool creates vacuum or pressure (selectable). Magnum Pro calibration pump model MVP-600.   For casual use your daily driver engine or wife's car 😀 will be more cost effective
