Always knew that special orders, back in the 66 era, were possible, not counting High Country Specials, etc.. I ordered a new 66 and specified my choices including accent stripe and woodgrain wheel. So anyway, received issue #7 of Mustang Magazine. A feature car was a Springtime yellow 66 cvt wit Ivy gold/white  Pony interior. The available interior offerings were black and parchment. So, was this a customer request order or just a dealer order? Guess we'll never know. Have to admit, that the Ivy gold/white Pony interior looked good with the yellow. Several years ago, an orange 66 fastback was featured in MMonthly

Agreed that with early cars (pre Ford available records) we will never know. IMHO it could have been either one
