1967 390 head stamp
« on: April 11, 2017, 12:06:03 PM »
I took off all the pulleys and brackets. As I started cleaning the engine, I came across this stamping on the front passenger side. Can someone tell me what it is or it's meaning?

Thanks!
Bill

Would guess that its a mark put on the engine or head to identify the job or work order for rebuilding the engine or the head.

Thanks , Jeff. That's what I figured after seeing a similar question in a recent thread.
