Topic: 67 vacuum tee

Marty, I found this diagram under brake section in the shop manual. This should verify trans hookup to check valve port. Every PB Auto 67 I've seen has it this way.

Not to be argumentative but have a fair number of unrestored 67s with PB with the transmission vacuum connected to other sources. Not sure if it depends on time period, options or other key points

No argument here Jeff, just relaying personal experience.  Here is a picture of 67 GT350 #165  Auto PB A/C  SJ 1/3/67 obviously unrestored.  All the vacuum lines are shown. (no tilt of course)

There is a vacuum diagram in the 67 Mustang Chassis Assembly Manual, but be careful as the 390 page also applies to Cougars. A couple of "T's" are referenced using Ford design part number (not the hardware part number format) but they do not appear in the 75 Ford Car Parts book.

Marty, there is another vacuum "T" at the front of the intake manifold associated with the installation of the PCV transfer tube. See Mansfields site for an illustration.

This car was posted as having a tilt column, on 67 390 cars the assembly manual calls for a tee in one of the vacuum lines after it leaves the brass distribution block, 6'' of tube, tee, then continuing on. On my engine this tee was black plastic  and in the AMK id book,  could this be it ?

I have seen translucent white plastic tees but not black ones. I confess I have not seen a lot of these for the tilt but given all of the other distributor ,windshield washer tees etc .are the translucent white ,a black tee would make me skeptical of it's origin.
