I know I am asking a lot here, but does anyone have a really good condition original rear screen for a 67 Fastback that could be shipped to the UK

You're misinterpreting what they said.  After translating into American, they really said "yes, we screwed up, and you Yanks are correct."

I would buy a new one. It is tough to find a original that is not scratched. PS Auto Glass in Janesville WI is a good to work with and they can etch them with your date codes.
