1965 coupe master cylinder

My question, relates to oem master cylinder.  My stang is from San Jose, Date 10T, standard  Brakes.  Someone told me this was OEM master cylinder?  If not What is OEM and do you have any information on where I can get it?  Thanks Dick..

don't know what that unit is from but definately not original to your car. i would suggest a want ad here on this site. replacements are available at some mustang vendors but are not properly date coded for your car.

You should be able to find a good one in any number of places. If no one on this site has one, you can try eBay, Hemmings Motor News, Mustang Restoration Shops, Classic Car Junk Yards, Mustang Clubs, Swap Meets, etc. Another source may be Mustang Parts Suppliers...some have their own yards with old Mustangs from which they sell parts. I don't know offhand which ones do but some Internet research will likely be of help.

Good luck, I'll be searching for one myself in a year or so.
