Anybody know what type of nut and bolt secure the tail light panel cover on a 69 Shelby ?
like the picture here ? would AMK have this ?

Looks to be the same as the quarter extensions (with the slightly wavy washer attached) only zinc rather than dichromate. But would not deduct for a dichromate  one since the finish wears off quickly and that may be what happened with this original example

Have no idea if AMK carries these - sorry

Thanks Jeff, I see in you picture that the tail light panels are light gray rather than the black that is being sold as replacements. Can these be painted over the black and if so could you suggest a color ?

Yes they should be a bluish gray  rather than the black that they are available in.   Shot them (just the one side) with sealer first since the cardboard will soak up the paint and you want a slightly smooth finish

Don't have a color match handy for the original color

AMK does carry these (F-1511). As Jeff stated they are the same as the fender extension hardware. You need a carriage bolt (P&O) to match the nut that is not included.
