I have seen several posts about the glove box lock on 1967+ MY but my question is for the 1966 MY. Was the lock standard, an individual option or packaged as part of a group? Thanks

The glove box lock was certainly NOT standard; can't tell you whether it was part of a package or not.

It was just a standalone or dealer installed item.

According to the 65 price list, the glove box lock was a dealer added accessory costing $2.49.

Well that would explain why I could not find it in the sales brochure for 1966 if it was a dealer installed option.
