Aftermarket Quarters--Convertible on Coupe?

I recently ran across a great deal for LH and RH full quarters for a '67.  The only issue is they're for a convertible, and my car is a coupe.  Can I still cut these down to the approximate size of skins and use them?  I was hoping that all of the convertible-specific stampings were above the upper body line.
