Source for '67 Console Seat Belt Pockets
« on: September 28, 2016, 10:49:25 AM »
Until recently, I didn't realize the OEM console in a '67 is supposed to have inserts in the seat belt holders.  I ran across a thread on the VMF where a member described restoring his original '67 console: http://forums.vintage-mustang.com/vintage-mustang-forum/1004930-sharing-my-67-console-rebuild.html

Does anyone have a source for these inserts that install in the seat belt receptacle, or a useable replacement?  I guess now I know why my seat belts always rattled when they were placed in the console....

Also, should all cars have a screw at the bottom of the seat belt holders?  Mine has the screw hole, but no screw.  Did it originally screw directly into the floorpan/transmission tunnel?

I MIGHT have a spare pocket or two. (pm sent)

Glued into place but often loose in a short time period (no screws).Made out of same rubber material as the seat belt retractor covers ;)
