« on: August 08, 2016, 08:42:03 PM »
Hi,

Im looking at a C5ZF-D carb for a 65 mustang A (auto) code SJ built.  Did this one part of the "mustang" line or should I be looking for a different one.

Thanks

Bob Mannel's book states that carb could be found on Fairlanes, Torinos, Comets, Cyclones, Mustangs, and Falcons.

Yes it is a correct carby for mustang and other applications.
there is a used original one advertised in the for sale section with images and also has the correct carby tag attached......

Sounds like the carb would be correct for your car, is it just the tag that is dated too early?
