Early 65 K code
« on: July 06, 2016, 10:42:02 AM »
Hello.  I'm wondering if any of the experts out there would be able to tell me what my early Aug 64 K code Coupe would have come with for wheels?  When I bought the car it had a set of wheels painted black with stock wheel covers.  Could this have been correct for the car, or would it have come with styled steel wheels (14x5) since it is a K code and would have come with the dual red line tires.  There are pics of my car in the member restoration area of this site.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bartman

steel wheels would have been the normal wheel along with the redlines. ss wheels were optional by this time period but could have been added by the dealer. unless you have some original documentation you may never know for sure.

I believe they were available with 15" steel wheels as well.
