66 fastback
« on: June 22, 2016, 03:35:08 PM »
Hi again,

here I bring a 66 fastback C code project car with VIN number 6F09C241192 in not a very good shape I believe.!
It has a lot of rust as for the pics, interior is bad, paint, and in general, almost all needs a hand.!
Seller wants €18700 ($21K) for it but even that the car is here in Spain mainland, it's in a poor shape.
What are your thoughts.? Thanks.!

Based on your delivery location - no. Those expected costs will exceed the potential value.

Thanks Jim, that's what I thought based on the car's shape, but looks like prices has gone up when you say Mustang and if it's a fastback, even more.! Althought the condition is more than poor. But since there are not the bunch you have there in the US, people is asking tons of money for them..

Josep,
The only things in the positive side are the body - Fastback, the year - 66, and the engine - 289 (I assume it is, and not a 302).
On the negative side, it's in fair shape - rust, your location - the Med, a lot of work and money to get the car into shape. You have got to be dedicated (and have a few extra Euros laying around).
Have a glass of wine with dinner and think on it.

Yes Jim, I think it's not a good deal, not at least for that price. If the car were much more cheaper, then one could think about it, but it's too pricey.! Thanks for comment,

Josep
