67 A/C line gaskets-seals factory type
« on: April 17, 2016, 02:18:30 PM »
Im setting my a/c up with factory lines and R-12 and it seems the gaskets for that application are different that what you get for a 134r switch over. Thanks for any leads.

Correct 67/68 lines are flare fittings and so no O rings used. 69/70 lines used O rings and need a different O ring more compatable with 134 gas.

Another item to watch, 134 conversion on a factory 67, the high pressure hose between the compressor & condenser is originally rubber. I suggest replacing it with a plastic lined rubber hose.
