hole in floor pan under accelerator pedal 1966 Coupe
« on: April 18, 2016, 06:37:42 PM »
I removed old carpet and I have a  small hole directly under the accelerator pedal?
Seems to have an indention around the hole like something was supposed to fit there.
Any idea what this is for?

The hole you're referring to is about two inches from where the Emergency brake cable passes though right where the floorboard meets the firewall, correct? It should almost be directly behind the top of the brake pedal. If that's what you're talking about, it is for the speedometer cable for an Automatic or Three Speed manual transmission.

I think he means right under the pedal on the floor board where your heel would be. I saw another car like this but thought it was a PO did something
