Unusual Factory Marking?

Not sure if it is factory or not.  Dearborn car built April of 1965.  Car had factory AC.  The "AN is just to the right of F AIR on the radiator support under what appears to be decal.  Again not sure if it is factory or not but thought I'd post...

Interesting that it appears to be applied over the black paint rather than under as the other markings normally would. Might suggest that it was post factory

Thanks for sharing - always interesting to compare to other examples

Looks to me like FAN with a faded out F. :-\
