67 C6 transmission mount insulator

Is this consistent with a assembly line part ?  Also would the insulator be semi gloss black ?

The correct, over time finish is early American rust. I would remove as much as possible without disturbing the rubber "flash" on the steel, then "protect" the metal's surface. Boeshield seems to be the current protectant of choice. Semi-gloss clear spray is another. Remember, the insulator is subject to a lot (two words) of road abuse.

I've often seen (in general not this specific application) a engineering number included on the insulator - can't say that all the suppliers did

The shape and design appears to be consistent with the application

Also would the insulator be semi gloss black ?

On original ones I've got pictures of there does not appear to be paint on the insulator only on the top and or both of the metal sections

That is a big block only insulator for 67-70 C6 and 4 speed. C7 engineering number. +1 on appearance as Jeff described.

At first I didn't see this on the end.
