Thanks Jeff, exactly what I needed and then some, with the photos! And with the date code visible on the taillight panel support, it certainly confirms that it is from about the same period, too.

Is there a recommendation on which product to use to replicate the sound deadner in the front fender area?

I've seen Wurth and some other products uses and allot of the results depends on the expensive guns to apply the thick heavy coat. Might want to play with chilling the product before the application. Improved the results in other products years ago.

Remember, during application, to let it flow where it goes. Too many tape and mask off other areas to the point where the overspray patterns (deduct for this all the time :( do not make sense.  A possibility would be to apply the first heavy coat to get it where you want coverage , then go back with a lighter coat, softening the edges and extending the overspray in a logical manner
