'67 center console mounting holes
« on: August 25, 2015, 07:45:06 PM »
The larger hole lines up with the tab under the dash, but there is no hole in the tab to accept a screw.  The matching hole on the passenger side does screw into the tab with a hole  in it.   Is the smaller, forward hole, in the picture original to the console....and if so, what is its' purpose?

No, that forward hole is not original. The hole that looks like a wire is sticking out of it connects to a bracket system that also connects to the back of the radio. (3-pieces) I think you covered those brackets in another thread (or somebody did several months ago)
