Topic: 1965 Emergency Flasher

I've seen two versions of the Knob on the 1965 Emergency Flasher Switch. One version appears to be black dyed or painted metal and the other is a Plastic Knob, (pictured), that slides over the lever.

Is either one correct or is there only one that is correct? The Part # for the pictured is C5AZ-13A350-A.

They were dealer add-on only for '65, so either one should be accepted.
