Topic: 65 deluxe door panel question

     I am helping a friend install some interior items. One of which is deluxe door panels. He has some panel clips with foam rubber and some without that came in a kit. Which clips go where ?    Thanks     Doug

The foam ones go along the bottom.

Not to hijack the post, but I never realized that the clips used on a deluxe panel didn't all have foam on them originally.  So some are supposed to have the foam pad, and some aren't?

Same practice used on std. door panels.

I suggest you get a set of Mustang Assembly Manuals for your year Mustang. They clips are shown there.

Just don't try to use Std. door panels retainers on a Deluxe door panel!  Don't ask how I know

Thanks, I'll check them out.  Over the years I've collected just about every assembly and shop manual available for a '65-66.  Just didn't realize it mentioned the door panel clip differences.
