Were the 1965/66 rear shock washers Zinc, Zinc Dichromate or phosphate/oil in color?

I thought  Phosphate & Oil originally but but after looking at pictures of Mike Murry's 65 Dearborn car they appear to be zinc in finish

Not sure if 66's are the same - 66 Adjustable Gabriel's (for Shelbys) used P&O washers

Have seen service parts with zinc washers but those are  over the counter pieces

I've seen zinc on early cars too.  What is usually in the NOS kits too.  There are 2 washer sizes per shock, one with small hole, one with large hole.
