68 paint code Y5

For the first time is saw somewhere where the Y5 is described as this:

Color:
Y5  Sunlit Gold Metallic w/Flat Black Hood 

Does Y5 really include the flat black accents on the hood?  I knew Y5 was sunlit gold but never saw a mention to the hood stripes.

The 5 suffix is for painted black stripes on the hood for 1968.  The Y prefix is Sunlit Gold.  You could get A5, B5, C5, etc.

I don't know if flat is the best description of the finish, but it is certainly more of a matte finish than a gloss, probably for safety (reflection) reasons.

How is a c stripe determined?  Would that be stated on a Marti report?
