NOS New Jersey License Plates "000 ABC"

I wondered if somebody with New Jersey built Mustang wouldn't want these: $49.95 +shipping

Thanks for posting.  Nj is weird regarding license plates.  You can't just walk into the DMV with a set of plates and register your car with them.  When you are done using a set of plates, you are supposed to turn them in at the DMV.  Maybe vanity plates are different.  I don't think the seller can legally sell these plates on eBay.  You could probably only hang them on your wall.

Yeah, I figured them to be "SHOW ONLY" no matter whether in the garage or on a trailer queen.

I've seen plates like these before for other states.  Like it says in the auction, "000 ABC" are typically display plates that would have hung on the wall at the DMV so people can see what they are going to be receiving in the mail.

Remember the 1969 Mustang "drag car" faux painted to show SAMPLER in old school gold leaf on Ebay a couple of years ago ? 
That was a case of using DMV Sample plates to fabricate the entire car !  LOL

You are correct.  NJ requires insurance on the plates at all times. I do not believe they can be transferred.
